Modulo 65.3 (Math Art for Kids)

Activity 103

One of the activities that is recommendable for kids in summer is Modulo 65.3. In line with this activity I first posted was Modulo 65.2. As you notice it’s just the .2 was changed to .3 but they have a big difference in result.

Hello Math lovers! Everyone is welcome to read and learn this awesome Math Art activity 103.

 

All the activities I’m going to share are certified tested and it would be of great help for enhancing art, statistics and more for everyone especially for kids.

 This activity helps the learner follow directions carefully at the same time creating art.

Activity 103  – Modulo 65.3 (Tutorial)

Modulo 65.3

Make a 360 degree circle. Divide it equally from number 1 to 64.

Make a small dot in number 2. 

Number 3 is our starting point.

Multiply by 3’s.

Note: Use colored papers, construction papers, colored pens, combine color to make it more attractive and colorful.

Step 1. Start at number 3. 

 

1 x 3  = 3 – connect a line from number 1 going to number 3. 

    Multiply all the sum by 3’s

3 x 3 = 9 – connect a line from number 3 going to number 9.

   Repeat the process

9 x 3 = 27 – connect a line from number 9 going to number 27.

27 x 3 = 81 – 65 = 14 connect a line from 27 going to number 14.

14 x 3 = 42 – connect a line from 14 going to number 42

42 x 3 = 126 – 65 = 61 – connect a line from 42 going to 61

61 x 3 = 183 – 65 = 53 – connect a line from 61 going to 53

53 x 3 = 159 – 65 = 94 – 65 = 29 – connect a line from 53 going to 29

29 x 3 = 87 – 65 = 22 – connect a line from 29 going to 22

22 x 3 = 66 – 65 = 1 – connect a line from 22 going to 1.

As you noticed, we get back to number 1. It’s time to start a new number then.

Step 2. Start a new number “2”

 

2 x 3 = 6 – connect a line from number 2 going to number 6.

6 x 3 = 18 – connect a line from number 6 going to number 18.

18 x 3 = 54 – connect a line from number 18 going to number 54.

54 x 3 = 162 – 65 = 97 – 65 = 32 – connect a line from number 54 going to number 32.

32 x 3 = 96 – 65 = 31 – connect a line from number 32 going to number 31.

31 x 3 = 93 – 65 = 28 – connect a line from number 31 going to number 28.

28 x 3 = 84 – 65 = 19 – connect a line from number 28 going to number 19.

19 x 3 = 57 – connect a line from number 19 going to number 57.

57 x 3 = 171 – 65 = 106 – 65 = 41 – connect a line from number 57 going to number 41.

41 x 3 = 123 – 65 = 58 – connect a line from number 41 going to number 58.

58 x 3 = 174 – 65 = 109 – 65 = 44 – connect a line from number 58 going to number 44.

44 x 3 = 132 – 65 = 67 – 65 = 2 – connect a line from number 44 going to number 2.


We have reached number again. Now, repeat the process.

 

Step 3. Start a new number – 4

4 x 3 = 12 – connect a line from number 4 going to number 12.

12 x 3 = 108 – 65 = 43 – connect a line from number 12 going to number 43.

Step 4. Repeat the process until you crossed all numbers out.
